Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Primary School, Hillingdon (Temporary Role) Location: Hillingdon, Greater London Contract: Temporary (Full-time or Part-time available) Start Date: ASAP Pay: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience) We are seeking an enthusiastic and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming Primary School in Hillingdon. As a HLTA, you will work closely with class teachers to plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities, as well as lead whole-class sessions in the teacher's absence. You'll support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. Key Responsibilities: Deliver pre-prepared lessons and learning activities to whole classes and small groups. Support teachers in planning and assessing learning outcomes. Provide targeted academic and emotional support to pupils, including those with SEN. Liaise effectively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support pupil progress. Requirements: HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a UK primary school. Proven experience supporting children across EYFS, KS1, or KS2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong classroom management and organisational skills. A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
