About the RoleThis is an entry level position where the requirement will work as part of a team to support the firm's information security management system. The role will help to support a robust programme of information security assurance activity ensuring that issues are identified, reported, addressed/escalated or accepted as appropriate.
·Maintaining compliance in line with relevant security frameworks/standards such as ISO 27001, CIS Critical Security Controls, and regulation such as the GDPR.
·Participating in information security control and risk assessments.
·Assisting with the creation, update, and maintenance of security program documentation.
·Completing regular data asset audits to ensure accuracy of records and to identify data flows and repositories.
·Manage internal and external client due diligence requests on behalf of Information Security Team.
·Supporting development of policies and procedures.
·Assisting in defining and executing security projects.
·Promoting information security awareness across the organisation.
About YouQualifications & Experience·Educated to degree standard.
·Minimum of 12 - 24 months information security experience.
Skills & Knowledge
·Some experience of working with the ISO27001 standard.
·Excellent communication skills.
·Understanding of ITIL preferred.
·Desire to build own information security knowledge.
·Self-motivated individual with flexible approach to working.
