We are working with a global technology company that manage and deploy complex IT Rollouts at hyper scale. This brand is a household name, multi billion dollar revenue operating in over 150 different markets. It is the worlds largest company in what they do and clients trust them to deliver huge projects effectively, at pace, at scale and successfully.


The transition team are at the centre of smooth operations and this role is one of the most critical roles in the business.


We are looking for a head to lead the EMEA transition team, to help their global clients move from current situation to the new future contracted service.


First and foremost, and we cannot stress this point enough.


This is a management/leadership role. You must bring leadership experience of a transition team into this role. Simply, the scale this company works will be at a level candidates will not have experienced so having to learn this, plus learn management would be too difficult.


The role


You will be responsible for overall coordination of the team and bring extensive knowledge and expertise in leadership, transition management and project management.


Responsibilities

  • Recruit, onboard, retain, and develop a high-performing regional team.
  • Oversee regional team performance by removing obstacles, ensuring success in meeting or exceeding annual goals, and conducting regular performance reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with regional governance standards for documentation and weekly internal/external reporting.
  • Address client and internal escalations for projects within the transition team portfolio.
  • Represent the team in meetings, providing status updates or recommendations on regional performance and key customer accounts.
  • Plan resources to ensure project coverage for pre-sales and active transitions, while also leading large implementation projects as needed.
