Cover Supervisor

As a Sports Coach / Cover Supervisor working with TailorEDucation, you will play a key role in supporting the learning and development of secondary school pupils. This exciting position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in delivering sports or physical education who are looking to take their first step into a classroom-based role. You will supervise lessons in the absence of the class teacher, manage classroom behaviour, and deliver pre-prepared learning activities across a range of subjects. Your experience in coaching and motivating young people will be invaluable in maintaining positive learning environments and engaging students in their education. Key responsibilities include: * Supervising classes during teacher absences * Managing pupil behaviour and ensuring a positive, safe learning atmosphere * Delivering pre-set lesson materials and activities * Encouraging participation and teamwork, drawing on your coaching experience * Supporting pupils’ wellbeing, motivation, and confidence both in and outside the classroom About the School/Setting TailorEDucation works in partnership with a wide range of secondary schools across Kent and Medway.
