Others talk about being brave, at IC24, were made that way.From providing high quality integrated urgent care for over six million people, to thinking of innovative solutions for our patients every role at IC24 is made to be brave.The RoleWere looking for an experienced Lead Nurse/Advanced Practitioner to join our team at Allied Medical Practice during an exciting period of growth and transformation.This is a leadership role where youll combine advanced clinical practice with team management, supporting nurses and healthcare assistants across our Brighton practices. This is an innovative and exciting opportunity to lead expanding services in line with the Next 10yr Strategy, across two GP practices, with a combined patient list of over 8000.Youll be a visible and accessible leader, driving high standards of patient care, mentoring colleagues, and influencing clinical models to improve outcomes.This role offers the chance to shape services, support innovation, and be part of our journey as we move into a purpose-built, modern practicedesigned to enhance patient experience and staff wellbeing.What Youll DoDeliver safe, effective, evidence-based care for registered patients.Provide leadership and oversight for practice nurses and HCAs, ensuring compliance with CQC, IPC, and clinical governance standards.Manage chronic disease clinics and health promotion initiatives, improving QOF performance.Act as an independent prescriber, supporting patient pathways and clinical decision-making.Mentor and develop your team through regular 1:1s, team meetings, and PDR processes.Collaborate with practice managers and clinical leads to identify population health needs and implement service improvements.Support training and career progression in partnership with our Learning & Experience team.What Were Looking ForDemonstrable advanced practice experience, ideally as an ANP or ACP.Independent Prescriber qualification (essential).Experience in primary care or general practice (urgent care experience considered if transferable).Strong background in Long-Term Conditions and Womens Health.Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.Excellent communication, adaptability, and resiliencea true people person with a compassionate approach.Ability to work flexibly across sites to support service needs.DesirableTeaching/mentorship qualification.Minor illness and chronic disease management courses.Family planning and womens health qualifications.Who are we?We are Integrated Care 24 (IC24), the leading not for profit Social Enterprise providing innovative and patient focused primary care services.IC24 is committed to improving access to health and social care for our patients and reducing the demand on secondary care services.IC24 provides services to over 6 million patients, including GP led out-of-hours services, NHS 111, primary care and secondary care support services.LocationBrightonShip Street SurgeryAllied Medical Practice Whats in it for you:Annual pay of £54,720 - £59,500Opportunity to join the NHS Pension SchemeFree 24/7 independent counselling serviceLearning and development opportunitiesFree membership to our reward and discount platformAccess to Blue Light Card and other NHS Discount SchemesDue to the nature of this position, employment is subject to proof of eligibility to work in the UK, completion of a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure and three years of references.Closing date: 12/1/26We celebrate brave ideas and brave people.careers.ic24.org.ukTPBN1_UKTJ
