We are recruiting a proactive Commercial Engineer to lead customer estimating, deliver accurate quotations, and provide commercial support to the engineering Cost of Sales function. This is a key role for an organised professional with a strong understanding of CNC machining processes, ready to drive cost efficiencies and support new business acquisition in a dynamic team environment. Key Responsibilities - Commercial Engineer Lead the preparation of customer quotations using best-practice estimating methods. Manage estimating workflows and coordinate activities within the small estimating team. Provide commercial input to engineering Cost of Sales, analysing data to identify cost-saving opportunities. Review lessons learned from COS data and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with Supply Chain to source materials to exact customer specifications. Support the engineering team to meet tight deadlines and customer demands. Develop and maintain process documentation in line with the company BMS.
