Are you an experienced leader in healthcare communications with a passion for driving impactful change? We are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Associate Director to join a strategic consultancy. You will join a dynamic healthcare practice and support them in expanding portfolio of public affairs clients. This is a unique opportunity to work with high-profile clients tackling some of the UK's most pressing healthcare issues, from cancer and heart failure to advancements in medical technology and the COVID-19 response. Join us to lead innovative campaigns that make a real difference.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership within the healthcare team, contributing to line management and business development.
  • Oversee major public affairs accounts across a diverse range of sectors.
  • Play a pivotal role in new business initiatives, from prospecting and proposal drafting to leading pitches.
  • Develop and implement impactful campaigns aimed at achieving tangible changes in healthcare.
  • Serve as the primary contact for a variety of client accounts, fostering strong and strategic relationships.
  • Mentor and manage team members to help them grow and achieve their career potential.


Key Requirements:

  • Significant experience in healthcare communications, either within an agency or in-house.
  • Demonstrated expertise in public affairs, ideally within the healthcare sector.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, with experience in line management.
  • Strong skills in client relationship management and new business development.
  • A strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the healthcare, media, and communications landscape.
