Job DescriptionJob title:Claims ExecutiveSalary: 35000Location: ManchesterPURPOSE OF ROLELawes is supporting our client in their search for a Claims Executive to help manage insurance claims from start to finish. You will ensure claims are handled quickly clearly and fairly giving great service to customers and supporting the wider team in meeting targets. Youll also follow important industry rules like Treating Customers Fairly and avoiding conflicts of interest.RESPONSIBILITIESHandle new claims and keep track of ongoing onesLook into each claim to check if its covered by the policyRecord and update claim details clearly and accuratelyKeep a full record of whats been done on each claimSend all the right documents to insurers or other providersAnswer phone calls and deal with customer questionsManage all incoming and outgoing paperwork on timeWork with others like insurers engineers and loss adjusters to move claims forwardHelp customers through each step of the claims processSend out payment cheques as soon as they arriveUse a daily task list to stay on top of open claimsDAY-TO-DAYTalking to customers and partners to manage claimsUsing the company system to update claim recordsResponding to emails calls and other messagesFollowing up on any open tasks or missing informationWorking closely with your team to give a smooth and helpful serviceEXPERIENCEA good understanding of FCA rulesExperience following company systems and processesSome background in insurance or claims is preferredKnowledge of Acturis and Windows Virtual Desktop would be a bonusSKILLSCan work independently and take initiativeWorks well with others and communicates clearlyWrites and speaks in a professional and friendly wayCan manage time well and stay organisedIs motivated positive and able to handle challengesIs confident using Word Excel and TeamsWants to keep learning and growing in their careerIf you have the relevant experience or know someone that does please contact me now onor email us at Key Skills Corporate Paralegal,Baan,IT Sales and Marketing,Civil Quality Control,Activex,Jboss Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
