Senior Care Assistant (Nights)Market Harborough£14.09 per hourI am looking for an experienced Care/Support Worker for a fabulous 45 bedded residential and dementia care home for the elderly near the beautiful town of Market Harborough. The home provides short-term and long-term residential care for the elderly and those living with dementia, as well as respite care, and is rated as ‘good’ by CQC.In this role you will: * Provide the highest possible levels of care in supporting and assisting residents in all aspects of daily living * Be responsible for promoting resident’s independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect * Be responsible for leading your shift to ensure high standards are maintained, and other members of the team feel supported * Complete the daily medication rounds * Ensure daily charts are completed to a high standard by all team members * Promote good practice in all aspects of careFor this post you must have: * Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) * Experience in a residential / nursing home setting at a supervisory level * Experience of administering medication and updating care plans * Excellent people skills and a caring and nurturing attitude * The ability to work nights and alternate weekends * Live within 30 minutes of the HomeFor more information on this role, which is an excellent opportunity for someone to progress their career, please call Elite on (phone number removed).Benefits include: * A great incentive program * Free parking on-site * Bi-annual pay reviews * Low-cost meals at just £1 per course while on shift * 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme for free counselling and valuable well-being advice * Paid DBS checks * A free uniform
