The team complete viability assessments full connected carer assessment and special guardianship assessments in partnership with children social work team and fostering service.Whats the roleThe post holder would be required to work closely with children social work teams fostering service and the Special Guardianship Post Order Support Team. You will need to offer support advice and guidance to social work teams and assisting them to complete regulation 24 assessments.You will be the named coordinator for connected carer and special guardianship assessments. This role will also require you to jointly formulate SGO support plans with the allocated childs social worker and supervising social workers (where applicable).
