Redstone Commodity Search are working with a leading energy trading and risk house to hire a PPA Origination Manager to be based in London.


Key Responsibilities / Tasks


  • Lead the origination, structuring, and negotiation of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with corporate clients, utilities, and energy offtakers.
  • Analyze market trends and regulatory developments to identify new opportunities for renewable energy PPA deals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including energy buyers, project developers, and financiers.
  • Work closely with internal teams (legal, finance, engineering) to ensure successful contract execution and deal closure.
  • Reports into Head of Desk.


Key Qualifications / Experience


  • Proven experience in energy trading, renewable energy markets, or PPA origination (3+ years preferred) within the UK and EU markets.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy project finance, electricity markets, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills with a track record of closing PPA deals.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
