Sales Manager – Automotive - £40,000 Basic + OTE + Company Car + Benefits

The company has been established for over 40 years and today sells over 700,000 tyres in the UK alone, with an annual revenue of circa £200 million. This has allowed them to open two new major distribution centres to continue their ambitious and on-going expansion strategies.


Creating their own product to introduce to the marketplace, they have been disruptive and are pioneering to be the best in their category. Teaming world leading manufacturing facilities with European led product research, development and marketing they now distribute in over 70 countries.


About The Opportunity:

£40,000 basic (increasing to £45,000 after 12 months)

OTE £7,500 (increasing to £15,000 after year 1)

Onsite – Newton Le Willows

Company Car

Private Healthcare for the family

23 days annual holiday (excluding bank holidays)


The main purpose of this role is support the internal Account Managers, providing training on exceptional customer service and developing their ability to highlight the presence of their in-house brand amongst their dealer network.


This role reports directly into the Sales Director and also works very closely with field-based BDMs, to provide competitive quotes. It is essential you become a champion of knowledge, regularly analysing competitors and being able to recognise market trends.

About You:

  • A proven track record in Sales Management and Sales.
  • An analytical nature with extensive I.T. skills and a hunger for data.
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • A proven track record in the management and development of people.
  • The ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment.
  • Must be a team player, who strives to motivate.
  • Excellent communicator with good presentation skills.
  • Ability to deliver against targets and focus on achieving results.
  • A good understanding of business and the numbers/data involved.
  • A proven record of both face to face and telephone sales.
