(pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.About the areaUWA is making significant investments in the Information and Technology Services to enable its strategic direction and goals. UWA is also looking to utilise technology advancements to expand its services and create new and innovative teaching and research models.The redesign of the Infrastructure and Platform Services unit aims to deliver design and operational services through a portfolio comprised of a Network and Platform section and an End User Compute section.About the opportunityUWA is enhancing its IT infrastructure to support strategic goals and foster innovation in teaching and research through a redesigned Infrastructure and Platform Services unit.The role focuses on managing and maintaining the client device environment across Windows Linux and Mac platforms including software packaging and deployment.Responsibilities include resolving technical issues ensuring compliance with security policies and contributing to service excellence and continuous improvement.About youRelevant tertiary qualification or equivalent competency.ITIL certification or experience in Service Delivery process is essential.Substantial relevant computing experience in providing support and troubleshooting for teaching and/or research solutions and applications.Demonstrated experience with the management and development of desktop standard operating environments (SOE) across Windows Linux and Mac.Experience administering Omnissa Horizon in a complex enterprise environment particularly within the education sector (Highly Desirable).Note: Some after-hours work may be required by the successful applicant.Position description: PD Senior Desktop Engineer To learn more about this opportunity please contact Dave Sayers at How to applyPlease apply online via the Apply Now button.
