As a Welbecker you will play an integral role in ensuring each guest enjoys exceptional service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere by delivering Memorable Dining Experiences

Your Role

  • To work closely with all Managers and Supervisors, ensure the effective management of all areas of the food and beverage operation: Breakfast, Room Service, Breakfast Kitchen, Meetings and Events.
  • Supporting the Deputy General Manager towards achieving departmental targets financial, quality, team development and legal and H&S compliance.
  • Working with the Department Managers responsible for attaining and where possible exceeding budgetary revenue targets across all F&B departments.
  • To ensure efficient cost control and that the purchase order system is adhered to in line with budget and forecasted revenues.
  • Support the effective management of payroll, whereby management of rostering puts the right person in the right place at the right time and that payroll costs ratios are in line with forecasted revenue.
  • Ensure that all rotas are inputted, and rota are closed weekly, holidays and absence are inputted correctly into Fourth.
  • Carry new starer reviews and annual appraisals with team members under your responsibility.
  • Drive and improve the standards across all F&B areas ensuring the Brand Operating
  • Continually review, refine and develop the Breakfast, Room Service, and Meeting & Events operations taking into account customer feedback with the Deputy General Managers and General Managers direction.
  • Review & Monitor the Quality Assurance Audit and Tripadvisor, towards improving on current scores and achieving set targets. and respond to customer feedback in a timely manner ensuring we use feedback to train, coach and develop the teams, in conjunction with the Brand Standards
  • Working with the teams, maximise customer satisfaction and create a proactive culture of effective service recovery at all times.
  • Identify any potential revenue opportunities, new trends
  • Ensure that the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the operations are to the standards detailed in the Companys Health & Safety Management System and Food Safety Policy.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources the effective recruitment and development / training of the team towards improving motivation and retention.
