Key Information:

  • Days: Monday to Wednesday
  • Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • Contract: Part-time
  • Key Stages: KS2 - KS4

Your Role: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored assistance to students with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), physical disabilities, and other complex needs. Your support will be crucial in helping students achieve their individual learning goals and promote their independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students in the classroom and during activities
  • Assisting with personal care and mobility needs as required
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with students
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents
  • Encouraging and promoting a nurturing learning environment

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with students with SEN (desirable)
  • Empathy, patience, and a proactive attitude
  • A passion for supporting young people with diverse needs
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training
