We're currently seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join my clients dynamic software development team. In this role, you'll play a crucial and key role in shaping the clients industry leading products and solutions. Your expertise in next.js, react, Node.js and the LEMP Stack will be essential in contributing
Your role will entail:
Develop and implement web applications using Next.js and associated front-end technologies such as React, HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code while adhering to industry best practices.
Optimise web applications for performance, compatibility, and responsiveness across various platforms and devices.
Stay updated on advancements in Next.js, React, and front-end development, identifying opportunities for enhancements or new projects.
Collaborate with UI/UX teams and product managers to gather requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Maintain technical documentation, including design documents and user guides, for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Implement security best practices in developing and maintaining web applications.
We're seeking candidates who possess:
Essential:
- Proven experience in developing web applications with Next.js and React, demonstrating a strong understanding of their features and best practices.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of web development best practices, including responsive design and performance optimisation.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience with agile software development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and critical thinking approach.
- A proactive mindset, capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
Desirable:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with LEMP Stack and build tools like Webpack or Babel.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Cypress.
- Understanding of server-side technologies, including Node.js.
- Experience developing single-page applications.
