Software Asset Manager - Investment Banking
A leading Investment Bank is seeking a Software Asset Manager to join their team in their London office. Joining a large Financial Services organisation means that they will ideally be looking for someone who has worked in a similarly large environment that holds multiple entities and complex infrastructure systems, networks, and virtualised environments.
This person will be an experienced Software Asset Manager that has worked across the entire software lifecycle which will include areas such as licencing, compliance, software governance, and optimisation. The role will also rely on someone who has strong experience and confidence to be able to present to senior stakeholders.
You will be:
- Following SAM best practices to implement governance protocols.
- Work collaboratively with the Legal and Procurement teams to review EULAs and Software Contracts.
- Work across projects and operational requirements, possibly at weekends/evening for software upgrades.
- Producing ELPs for Tier 1 vendors
- Manage and maintain software Licence entitlements & contract compliancy.
- Working across vendors based in various locations globally
- Producing and maintaining software licence usage in order to reduce risk across the organisation.
- Managing the hardware inventory.
You will have experience in:
- The evaluation and understanding of complex software Licence contracts
- Deploying software across various platforms
- Being involved with Licensing Virtualised environments
- Being able to manage and present to senior stakeholders, and maintain relationships with them.
- Being a strong decision maker that has a proactive approach to work.
- Software compliancy and software entitlements.
- Ideally will have exposure to Certero Asset Management software
This is a permanent position based in London, operating on a hybrid work setup.
