Graduate EngineerLocation: This on-site role is an immediate requirement, located at 6 Kilmartin Pl, Uddingston, Glasgow G71 5PH.Salary: £27,000, Company Pension Scheme, 30 days holiday entitlement per year and further benefits available including flexi-time and a generous bonus scheme.Contract: Full time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.Aerotron Avotec Ltd is an aircraft component maintenance company working in the civilian and military aviation sectors. Based in Uddingston, the company specialises in the repair and overhaul of Electrical & Mechanical components for the aerospace industry.This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to forward their career in the aviation sector, the successful applicant has the opportunity to further progress within the company and expand their technical expertise and education through our learning partnerships.The Graduate Engineer role involves:• Design of Tooling and Equipment.• Specifying, purchasing and controlling tooling and equipment.• Ensuring tooling and equipment is available at point of use.• Ensuring that the Preventive Maintenance process is effective.• Introduction of New Product and training of technicians.• Control of calibrated equipment.• Engineering Change Control management.Essential Criteria:• Degree qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or similar.• Good at working with hands and using tools and equipment.• You must have the ability to read technical drawings and associated information.• Meticulous attention to detail.• Strong problem solving and communication skills.• Have the ability to use Microsoft Office applications.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Keen to work and develop career with highly professional company.Desirable Criteria:• Understanding of CAD particularly SolidWorks.If you feel you have the skills and experience to be successful in this role then apply today
