Up to £36,500 plus excellent benefits
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Maintain accurate payroll and pension records for all registered to the organisation
- Oversee any relevant contractual changes
- Process starters and leavers
- Administer salary changes accordingly, in line with statutory pay increases
- Prepare and issue annual payment statements
- Oversee and submit monthly payroll, checking and investigating any errors, as well as accounting for absences
- Responding to internal and external payroll related queries in a timely manner
- Ensure to maintain full awareness of Payroll and HMRC regulation
- Assist in process optimisation of the payroll process
- Oversee staff benefits
- Be responsible for all staff maternity and paternity payments, queries, changes etc.
- Act responsibly within GDPR guidelines
- Other tasks as required by the HR and Finance department related to Payroll and Pensions
Person specification:
- Working knowledge in an end-to-end payroll position with a strong understanding of pensions
- Excellent communication skills, able to work as part of a small close-knit team
- Relevant qualification such as CIPP preferred
- Working knowledge and understanding of HMRC processes
- Able to work in an organised manner and effectively under pressure
