Position Overview:


1/2 Days a week in office: Bromley


We are seeking a highly skilled PHP/Laravel/WordPress Software Engineer with experience in the E-Commerce, iGaming, gambling, or betting industry. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in PHP frameworks such as Laravel and WordPress, along with expertise in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our new platform, solving complex problems, and effectively communicating with multiple stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the development of the new platform using PHP, Laravel, and WordPress, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement features that meet business needs.
  • Develop and integrate payment modules to facilitate secure transactions within the platform.
  • Implement interactive features to enhance user engagement and overall user experience.
  • Optimize front-end performance and responsiveness using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and stability of the platform.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our development processes and techniques.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5 years) as a PHP/Laravel/WordPress Software Engineer, preferably within the E-Commerce, iGaming, gambling, or betting industry.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, Laravel, WordPress, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with subscription platforms and business models is advantageous.
  • Solid understanding of software development best practices, including version control (e.g., Git), testing methodologies, and deployment processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
