The Senior Quantity Surveyor Role

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will join a dynamic and forward-thinking team, taking a seat on the senior leadership team. The role involves oversight of all project phases, ensuring contractual compliance and cost control from inception through to completion over the next 5-6 years.

  • Lead and manage contract negotiations and administration under the NEC4 contract framework.
  • Provide strategic advice on risk management during the construction stages.
  • Oversee cost planning, budgeting, and financial management for the project.
  • Collaborate with legal, technical, and operational teams to ensure project success.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor

  • Extensive experience as a Senior/Managing Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally with marine or major civil engineering experience (roads, aviation, highways, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of construction risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Proficiency with NEC4 contracts.
