What will you be doing?
As a member of Supply Chain group, you will lead the Production Planning team to ensure orders are planned effectively to cell capacity and OTIF is maintained. The team is made up as follows:
Production Requirements Planner
Supply Chain Administrator
You will:
- Own Production Scheduling systems to improve manufacturing effectiveness.
- Own and develop the S&OP process to balance the demand and supply plans with clear timings and responsibilities
- Own fulfilment and OTIF scores for the business and arrange root cause analysis where applicable.
- Support the sales team and provide direction on promotional activity, timings and distribution
- Drive Daily Order Review meetings, identifying issues and future risks
- Chair the monthly risk meeting to highlight concerns to the Senior stakeholders
- Manage product inventory, analyse sales, stock, and other data statistics
- Coordinate with the Production team to ensure demand and production planning are accurately synchronised
- Model data to forecast future demand and ensure it is reviewed and updated regularly to ensure accuracy
- Manage and lead the 6-month stock take process to ensure accuracy and continuous improvement items are reviewed
- Manage stock run out planning efficiently to minimise write off
- Manage new model introduction stock effectively to ensure demand can be fulfilled.
- Review and update standard processes for the area.
- Continuously look for innovation opportunities
- Attract, develop, retain and coach the team to drive ownership, accountability and execution
- Create/Sustain a customer-centric mindset
- Partner with key stakeholders including the Crowcon teams to deliver growth in a sustainable & customer centric way
- Provide effective and transparent project management to ensure the execution of strategy
Your skills & experience
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Production Planning Manager in a manufacturing environment
- A proven track record of delivering results within a challenging environment
- Forecasting & statistical modelling
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
- Procurement
- Inventory & Supply chain management
- Analysis and problem-solving skills such as the ability to question, accurately identify a need, and present an effective solution
- Capability to multitask with strong attention to detail
- A strong mindset, to drive continuous improvement
- Experience of leading, coaching, developing and ensuring collaboration across teams.
- Good communicator across multiple departments
