Junior Conveyancer

My client is searching for a Junior Conveyancer to join their team based in their Manchester offices.
This role would be suited to someone who is currently working as a legal assistant who wants to take the next step in their career and become a qualified conveyancer.
My client will provide full support and comprehensive training throughout your journey to achieve your CLC qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload which will give you exposure to all aspects of conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion, registration and closure of the file. Additional support is provided by our specialised teams in title checking and post-completion, to assist with your workload & provide assistance when needed.- Accuracy and attention to detail is key as you will be taking instructions, communicating with clients and 3rd parties, drafting legal documents including Standard Precedent Letters, Contract Packs, Exchange and Completion letters.- Carry out Pre-completion, Land Registry and Conveyancing searches to ensure the file is ready for exchange and completion.- Carry out Post Completion work including preparing and sending applications to the Land Registry, Stamp Duty Land Tax submissions, file closures and checking account ledgers.

Skills and Experience Required:
- Ideally this role would suit a legal assistant or similar looking to develop a career in conveyancing.- Excellent communicator, who can demonstrate good time management, alongside organisational and problem-solving skills.- Accuracy and the ability to pay attention to detail is crucial.- Self-motivated and able to work alone or as part of a team.- Knowledge of Case Management Systems and Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel and Outlook is preferred but not essential.
