Our client is an industry leading Healthcare company with over 50 locations nationwide. They are looking for a Senior Infrastructure engineer to join their constantly growing internal infrastructure function. As they service a large base of branches, internal infrastructure is among the most important departments of the business.

The role

You would be reporting directly to the infrastructure manager and would serve as the 2nd in command of a large infrastructure team. In this position, you would be handling escalations from more junior members of the team, supporting on issues across all hardware and software platforms at a 3rd line level.

In this role, you would also be expected to produce documentation providing high quality guidance to junior members of the team. In this position there would be plenty of opportunities to liaise with the projects team, providing them with infrastructure support when required.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years IT Support/Infrastructure experience.
  • Azure and Kubernetes
  • Office 365, Teams, Exchange and Powershell
  • Strong virtualisation experience, using VMware and Hyper-V
  • RAID Configureation
  • Expertise in Networking topologies such as SDWAN, WAN, FTTp/c, TCP/IP, Routers, Switches and Firewalls.
