Due to the continued success and growth of the firm's client base, we are seeking a Residential Property Fee Earner to join its thriving conveyancing department in Uppermill, Saddleworth. This role offers excellent career prospects within a supportive and challenging work environment.

Role Overview:

This position is ideal for a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Senior Conveyancer with around three years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE). You will be responsible for managing a busy and varied caseload of residential property transactions, including purchases, sales, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and land matters involving both freehold and leasehold titles for registered and unregistered properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Caseload Management
    • Manage your own caseload of residential property files, handling transactions from inception to completion
    • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure cases are managed efficiently and effectively
  • Client Relationships
    • Build and nurture relationships with clients and internal/external contacts
    • Take instructions on new enquiries, provide expert advice, and maintain strong client connections
  • Document Preparation
    • Prepare contracts, correspondence, and legal documents using Case Management systems
    • Use initiative to ensure all documentation is accurate and completed in a timely manner

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualifications – A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Senior Conveyancer with a strong academic record
  • Experience
    • Proven track record of handling a busy residential property caseload independently
    • Experience across a variety of transactions, including purchases, sales, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity
