Regional AI Genomics/Proteomics Scientific Sales Manager

Job Title: Regional Scientific Sales Manager – AI Genomics/Proteomics Location: London, UK (Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Scientific Sales Manager to join a newly formed Growth team, focused on driving business development and sales of cutting-edge Biotech solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team shaping the commercial strategy within genomics and proteomics solutions across the UK, with potential exposure to key European markets.Key Responsibilities:Lead complex sales cycles with senior scientific stakeholders in the life sciences sector.Clearly articulate the value of genomics and proteomics solutions to business outcomes, bridging science and commercial impact.Develop and execute strategic account plans for UK clients, with opportunities to engage with select European markets (e.g., France, Germany).Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in business development, product, and scientific leadership.Drive revenue growth while maintaining a deep understanding of scientific applications and market trends.Candidate Requirements:Experience: Minimum 7 years in scientific sales within Biotech or Pharma (exceptional candidates with 5+ years may be considered).Proven track record in selling complex, high-value solutions to senior scientific stakeholders.Ability to communicate genomics/proteomics concepts clearly without unnecessary jargon.Experience connecting scientific insights to tangible business value.Comfortable navigating multi-stakeholder sales cycles and building long-term client relationships.Strong commercial acumen combined with scientific literacy.Preferred Background:Direct experience in genomics and/or proteomics.Experience selling advanced or emerging technologies to R&D executives.Benefits & Career Progression:Competitive base salary with bonus/commission potential.Long-term incentive plan (4-year stock plan).Flexible hybrid working model.Opportunities to discuss salary and seniority increases twice a year (individual and team performance-based).
