DK Recruitment is excited to partner with our Exeter-based client in their search for a dedicated Bookkeeper to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of a dynamic organisation and contribute to its success.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage day-to-day financial data entry to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee credit control processes to maintain healthy cash flow and minimize outstanding debts.
- Generate and process invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Handle client billing procedures professionally and efficiently.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external accountants, ensuring clear communication and timely provision of necessary financial information.
- Prepare and present management reports and accounts to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
- Reconcile multiple accounts regularly to maintain accurate financial records.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Manage auto-enrolment pension schemes effectively, ensuring compliance and accurate record-keeping.
- Assist colleagues as needed in various tasks; operating as a small team where everyone contributes to overall success.
About You
- Experience working in a role with similar responsibilities
- AAT Qualified or working towards AAT Level 4
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge or ERP systems and ability to utilise MS Office Applications
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
