Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-level Full Stack Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with client project teams and contribute to delivering complex and innovative software projects. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and mentor junior developers in a dynamic, collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code using ReactJS, NextJS, and NodeJS.

- Collaborate with client project teams to design and implement complex software solutions that meet client requirements.

- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and mentoring junior developers.

- Implement and advocate for SDLC best practices, including unit testing (e.g., JEST, Mocha), mocking, vulnerability scanning, and static code analysis.

- Contribute to the design and development of service-oriented architectures.

- Work within Agile methodologies to deliver software incrementally, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Utilise SVN/Git for version control and adhere to TDD/BDD principles to ensure robust and reliable software development.

- Continuously seek opportunities to learn and apply new technologies and best practices to improve software quality and team efficiency.


Qualifications:

- Experience: 3+ years of commercial software development experience, with a strong focus on ReactJS, NextJS, and NodeJS.

- Testing & Automation: Proficient in unit testing frameworks (e.g., JEST, Mocha) and SDLC best practices, including automated testing, vulnerability scanning, and static code analysis.

- Agile: Solid experience working within Agile environments and using SVN/Git for version control.

- Mentorship: A natural ability to mentor and support junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.

- Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong professional relationships and collaborate effectively within teams.

- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.


Preferred Qualifications:

- DevOps & CI/CD: Knowledge of DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Sonar) and CI/CD principles.

- Automated Testing Tools: Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., K6, Cypress, Postman).

- Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud technologies and services, preferably Azure or AWS.

- Consulting Experience: Prior experience in a software consulting role is highly desirable.
