Senior QS

About the Role:Report directly to the Senior Commercial ManagerRequired full time (8.5 hours per day)Urgent appointment with a minimum period of 6 monthsWork primarily on a project worth £14mAttend site twice a week and regional office once a weekWork type is sewerage treatment works (non-infrastructure)Water industry experience is preferableForm of main contract is NEC4 ECC Option AChange control through Client CCM systemRequired to fulfill month-end CVR processProject delivery model is subcontract and based on NEC4 ECCS Option A or BWill also be required to support some smaller projectsAccess to a Graduate QS and Commercial Administrator for supportKey Responsibilities:Ensure accurate commercial management and control of the projectReview, negotiate, and agree on contract terms and conditionsManage and forecast costs, and monitor project budgetsPrepare and submit accurate and timely cost reports, cash flow forecast, and valuationsManage change control and ensure accurate pricing and valuation of variationsCollaborate with the project team to resolve commercial issuesEnsure compliance with all contractual and legal obligationsProvide support and guidance to the Graduate QS and Commercial AdministratorJob Requirements:Significant experience in commercial management, preferably within the water industryStrong knowledge of NEC4 ECC Option A and change control processesExcellent understanding of cost forecasting, budgeting, and reportingAbility to negotiate and manage contract terms and conditionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in using relevant software and toolsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProactive approach with a focus on delivering high-quality resultsIf you are an experienced Senior QS with a strong commercial background, we would love to hear from you.
