Security Architect

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Security Architect to join our Technology Team here at Morrisons. This is a critical role responsible for designing, building, and implementing robust security solutions across our entire technology stack, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data. You will be instrumental in integrating security best practices into the development lifecycle and acting as a subject matter expert for engineering and product teams.Location: Morrisons Head Office, Hilmore House, Bradford, BD3 7DLWorking Pattern: Monday - Friday - Hybrid - 3 days per week in the officeSalary: Depending on Experience + Benefits PackageWhat you'll do:Lead the planning, design and governance of enterprise security architectureDefine security strategies, standards and roadmaps for key programmesShape secure by design practises across applications, infrastructure and DevOpsConduct risk based assessments and threat modellingGuide secure configurations (firewalls, WAFs, endpoint protection, IAM, Zero Trust)Collaborate across tech, vendor and audit teams to strengthen security postureMonitor emerging threats and continuously improve security frameworksWe're looking for someone who has demonstrated experience in IT security, ideally within large complex environments, you will also have a strong background in designing Security Reference Architectures.We're also looking for someone who has:Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise security toolsSound knowledge of frameworks and standards (ISO27001, PCI-DSS, GDPR, NIST CSF, CIS)Relevant qualifications, such as CISSP, CISA, BCS or similarIn return for all your hard work, you will receive:15% discount in store from the day you join us Additional 10% discount card for a friend or family memberCareer progression and development opportunitiesGenerous holiday entitlementPension scheme and life assurance Healthcare benefits including Aviva Digital GP ‘MyPerks’ giving you discount with over 850 retailersFree parking onsiteEnhanced Family, Maternity and Paternity Leave Annual bonus schemePrivate healthcareCar Cash AllowanceAlive with activity, our modern Head Office is home to our corporate teams that make sure everything runs smoothly.
