Job Description: This position is responsible for meeting the goals and objectives of the organization by developing, implementing, and managing the pricing strategies for the organization's products and services to optimize revenue, ensure market competitiveness, and profitability. You will leverage your expertise to analyze data, streamline processes, and drive efficiency within the pricing function.Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. • Lead, mentor, and develop the pricing team, ensuring accurate costing and pricing, strong analytical capability, and continuous improvement in pricing processes.• Provide strategic direction for pricing functions, establishing priorities, guiding analysis, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.• Develop and oversee pricing structures for new and existing products to meet financial objectives, margin requirements, and sales plans.• Support the development and enhancement of pricing models and tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and usability for the Sales team.• Use market trend and pricing data to anticipate demand, identify opportunities, and develop proactive pricing strategies that enhance profitability.• Analyse sales performance trends compared to prior periods to understand how pricing impacts volume, margin, and customer behavior.• Review, refine, and adjust pricing strategies based on market conditions, competitive intelligence, cost fluctuations, and customer feedback.• Leverage margin reviews across products, sites, or business units to identify trends, recommend pricing actions, and partner with Sales to implement necessary changes.• Manage all price escalators and de-escalators, ensuring accurate application and alignment with contracted customer accounts.• Evaluate price realisation to confirm pricing policies are effectively implemented and driving targeted financial outcomes.• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Finance, Operations, and Executive Leadership to ensure unified pricing strategies and decision-making.• Communicate pricing updates and structures clearly and effectively to internal stakeholders and customers, ensuring understanding and alignment.• Partner closely with Sales to understand market dynamics and provide guidance on pricing strategies, policies, and opportunities to maximise profitability.• Perform all other duties as assigned to support pricing strategy and business objectives.Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.5-8+ years of experience in pricing management or a related role, with a proven track record of success.Proficiency in Microsoft products, particularly Excel and Power BI; experience with pricing software is a plus.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives and drive organisational efficiency.Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.Exceptional time management and organisation skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
