Our client has an opportunity for a Design Quality Engineer to join them on a contract basis in Broughton, Flintshire for 12 months. You will be working within the Quality Engineering Airframe Wing organisation, primarily in the Programme perimeter for Quality Performance activities covering all programmes. Role: Design Quality Engineer Location: Broughton, Flintshire Hours: 35 per week Clearance: BPSS required to start Hourly Rate: £34.76 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35 What you'll be doing: The Quality Engineering Wing team is accountable for the deployment of the Quality Strategy within the Engineering Wing organisations. This strategy is deployed via the implementation of 'Quality Improvement Project/Plans' in order to support the achievement of the Engineering Wing quality targets. Also the successful applicant will be responsible for Quality Performance activities, such as: Drive and deliver improvement projects in order to support the achievement of the Engineering Wing quality targets (Primary activity of role) Facilitate and support root cause analysis & practical problem solving activities Establish and drive corrective and preventive action plans in order to support the improvement of engineering quality performance and its associated deliverables Identify risks/issues relating to the quality of the engineering deliverable and facilitate, support and drive standardised mitigation plans in order t...
