Your day will be varied , from dealing with incoming phone calls and troubleshooting basic problems to onsite visits for PC and laptop installations. The day-to-day workload on the whole is calm, productive and rarely results in reactive firefighting.The successful candidate will be part of a small but efficient team, where team work is a priority to deliver excellent customer service and support to our clients.You need to be self-motivated, punctual, and confident working without supervision. You should be comfortable communicating primarily by telephone and face-to-face with clients and colleagues when required.The salary awarded will be dependent upon skills, relevant experience and previous roles.A valid UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle is essential for this role - mileage will be compensated.Key Responsibilities:Travel to client sites to install PCs and laptopsFollow documented processes and procedures for all deploymentsDeliver outstanding on-site client support and represent our values professionallyWork from home when not on client sitesAnswer incoming calls from clients and log tickets on the helpdeskAdhere to documented service level agreements (SLAs)Manage your own tickets independentlyEscalate or collaborate with team members on more complex resolutionsTechnical Experience:Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar IT support roleSetting up new PCs and laptopsWindows 11 Pro installations3rd party software and anti-virus installationLAN connectivity troubleshooting, network patchingActive Directory account creation and domain joiningMicrosoft 365 account creation and mailbox setupUse of remote access and management softwareIT hardware troubleshooting, on site and remotelyBasic printer troubleshootingHelpdesk Experience:Understanding and adhering to Service Level AgreementsExcellent communication with clients and colleaguesManaging your own tickets unsupervisedEscalation of tickets and/or working with team members on resolutionsTeam Players: Individuals who contribute positively to group dynamicsProblem Solvers: Professionals who approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindsetEthical Professionals: Those who uphold integrity in every taskReady to Make a Difference?If you think this could be a role you could fulfil and enjoy, then please apply with your CV and any relevant information to us.
