You’ll be the go to person for financial systems and processes, making sure they’re efficient, reliable, and ready to support our growth.You’ll collaborate with colleagues across our venues and services, helping them understand and follow sound financial practices. From optimising cash management and reconciliations to developing process improvements and leading system developments, your work will make a direct impact on how we deliver our cultural mission across the county.You’ll also manage day to day financial controls, including cash processing, sales ledger reconciliations, and rates management, while working closely with the Finance Analyst – Business Reporting to ensure accurate income reporting.A bit about youYou are a finance professional with solid, hands-on experience in management accounting or financial analysis. You understand how financial information supports operational decisions and can explain numbers clearly to colleagues who are not from a finance background.You have practical experience in accounting, finance operations and system management, ideally including EPOS or ticketing systems. You are part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). You are confident managing core financial processes and working with large data sets.You have strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail and an interest in improving and streamlining financial workflows. You take a structured, methodical approach to problem-solving and look for better ways of working.You work well with people across different teams, build strong relationships and help keep processes running smoothly.
