Hand Solderer – Mploy Group Location: Rugby Hours: 37.5 hours per week (4 or 5 day working week) Start Date: Immediate Overview Mploy Group is seeking a skilled Hand Solderer on behalf of our client in Rugby within the electronics manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will be IPC-trained and confident soldering to Class 1, 2 and 3 standards. This role suits someone with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work accurately from drawings and BOMs. Key Responsibilities * Carry out high-quality hand soldering to IPC Class 1, 2 & 3 standards. * Work in accordance with IPC J-STD and IPC-A-610 (training/certification preferred). * Assemble, rework, and inspect PCB assemblies, wiring, and electronic components. * Follow and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOMs). * Ensure all work meets quality, reliability, and compliance standards. * Maintain a clean, safe, and ESD-compliant workstation. * Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding production progress.
