Role Purpose
This new role merges technical skills with marketing expertise, positioning the successful candidate to lead the management of the firm's website and digital marketing strategy.
Initially, the role will focus on overseeing the re-development of our existing website, ensuring it aligns with our updated branding and brings the website up to date with current marketing standards. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the website build from the ground up and continuously refine it into an efficient and impactful marketing asset, using analytics to inform and enhance its effectiveness.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative team, playing a key role in campaigns while also managing the broader responsibilities of developing and implementing an overarching digital marketing strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, website development, UX, SEO, and project management.
Key Responsibilities
Website Re-development
- Lead the selection process for the CMS platform, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of website re-development project.
- Collaborate with designers, developers and content creators to ensure the website meets user experience and functionality standards.
- Ensure the new website is optimised for SEO, mobile responsiveness and analytics gathering.
- Oversee the migration of content from the old website to the new platform.
- Develop CMS templates and building blocks to create a comprehensive and future-proof website design, ensuring optimal internal usability for website content creators.
- Establish and document website processes for internal procedures, ensuring adherence to financial regulation.
- Develop strategic approach to leverage website as an effective marketing tool.
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive traffic and engagement, in line with overall marketing aims.
- Play a key role in campaigns, managing and optimising paid search, display advertising, and other digital marketing campaigns, and integrating with email and social media activity.
- Utilise analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of website marketing activities and campaigns, as well as produce reports to support data-driven decisions.
- Conduct continuous competitive analysis and follow industry best practices to identify digital opportunities.
- Collaborate to produce, adapt and curate high-quality, engaging content for website and other digital channels.
- Work with vendors to continuously keep CMS templates up to date and oversee creation of new templates and building blocks as needed.
- Work with internal stakeholders to co-ordinate publication of non-marketing materials on website.
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
- Monitor and analyse SEO/SEM performance and adjust strategies as needed.
- Set up and maintain website analytics tools to track performance metrics.
- Provide regular reports on website performance.
- Make recommendations for continuous improvements based on data insights.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Manage project timelines, budgets and resources effectively.
- 5+ years of digital experience, including website management and development
- Proven track record of managing successful digital marketing campaigns
- Strong understanding of UX and SEO
- Proficient in web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) and CMS platforms
- Excellent project management skills with ability to multitask and prioritise
- Attention to detail that is not diminished by the existence of regular short deadlines and rapid-response requests from other parts of the business
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive decision-making
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to take on responsibility and show initiative whilst being highly collaborative within a small team
- Experience working with cross functional teams and managing external vendors
- Experience within the financial services sector advantageous

The Marketing and Communications team comprises eight individuals who handle a diverse range of tasks from events organisation, film and podcast production to reporting commentaries, presentations and of course... the website.
