Technician - Trainee or Experienced

Our excellent client in Tetbury is looking for a Technician on a full time, permanent basis. They are a really great company that care a lot about their staff.

In this role, previous industry experience non-essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided on the job, products and processes. What we are looking for is a hands-on individual with a full, clean driving license who is enthusiastic and willing to learn.

Reporting to the Technical Supervisor, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing equipment at customers’ premises (both business and residential) across mostly England and Wales, in order to maintain maximum customer satisfaction. Premises can include homes, gyms, spas, premier league football clubs and more

Please note that if you have a long route planned, you may be offered an overnight stay by the company for your convenience. Any overtime worked will be offered back as time in lieu.

Main Responsibilities:

- Deliver, install and maintain equipment at customers’ premises - both in business buildings and customer homes.

- Deliver training and support to customers on the equipment, so that they can carry out routine maintenance themselves.

- Prioritise own workload and journey plans for each day to ensure that time is utilised efficiently and customer service standards are met.

- Complete detailed information onto job sheets at the correct time and to the required standard, to ensure that customer invoices can be issued promptly, parts ordered and records kept up to date.

- Carry out regular stock checks on van contents, refilling when needed.

- Maintain company van and all tools supplied by company, ensuring stock routinely checked and up to date.

Hours: 37h per week, Monday - Friday, flexibility on start/finish times required. Any overtime hours will be given back in lieu.

Salary: Up to £29,000 depending on experience + benefits including

- 28 days paid holiday including bank holidays plus an extra day for your birthday, increasing with length of service up to 33 days a year.

- Discretionary annual bonus based on company profitability.
