About The RoleThe Purpose of the roleMain purpose of the role is transportation and assistance of flight crew to and from the base and aircraft.

About The RoleWorking times and hours, will be 4-hour shifts, on casual basis, to assist with the afternoon inbound/outbound crew transportation. Approximately 3-4 days per week, weekends will be required, schedule dependant.

You will be working 12:00 to 16:00, 12 hours per week, on a casual basis.

Main Duties:

  • To ensure the safe transportation and assistance of flight crew to and from the base and aircraft.
  • Would need to be able to lift crew bags into the vehicle.
  • To ensure that the OCS safety image is reflected positively through your actions and those of your colleagues.
  • To ensure that the vehicles are in good working condition, kept clean.
  • To complete daily vehicle checks and records.
  • To be an ambassador for the company, living the OCS values of care, safety, trustworthy and expert.
  • To communicate in a professional manner with customers, airport authorities and colleagues.

Experience / Desired & Essential Qualifications

  • Previous airport experience is desired.
  • Previous customer service experience and communication skills are welcomed.
  • Previous minibus (up to 12 passengers) or coach driving experience is advantageous.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic and a positive approach even when under pressure
  • Be able to work efficiently.
  • Highest regard for service quality

You will also need:

  • Full UK/EU driving licence
  • Airside Driving Permit - Must be able to pass practical and medical driving tests for the Airport

A PCV licence is not required for this position.
