A leading international law firm is seeking a talented and motivated Construction Disputes Solicitor (1-3 PQE) to join its dynamic and highly regarded Construction Disputes team in London. The Role

The successful candidate will work on a broad range of contentious construction matters, including:

Advising on construction and engineering disputes, including those arising from project delays, defects, payment issues, and professional negligence
Handling adjudication, arbitration, litigation, and other forms of dispute resolution
Drafting and reviewing contract documents, claims, and defences
Managing client relationships and providing strategic advice on dispute resolution options
Working closely with colleagues across the firm's wider construction and infrastructure practice

Key Responsibilities

Managing a varied caseload of construction disputes with minimal supervision
Providing commercially focused advice to clients on complex legal issues
Instructing and managing counsel and experts where required
Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and other legal documents
Contributing to business development initiatives and strengthening client relationships
Candidate Profile

The firm is looking for a confident and commercially minded solicitor who meets the following criteria:

1-3 years PQE with experience in construction disputes
Strong technical knowledge of construction law and dispute resolution procedures
Excellent drafting and analytical skills
Strong communication and client management abilities
A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
