Were excited to be looking for an Income Recovery Specialist to join our busy Income team in Bracknellon a permanent basis.Youll be comfortable to speak with our customers whether this is over the telephone or face to face in our offices or in their homes.As youll be proactive in contacting our customers who have fallen into rent arrears youll need to be able to deal with difficult sensitive and challenging behaviour and situations in a calm and professional manner. Youll use your initiative to problem solve when investigating their circumstances and negotiate repayment agreements. Youll be able to identify the need to signpost to internal and external support if required.Collaborative working and communication skills will all be essential as youll work with a range of stakeholders including DWP local authorities debt advice organisations and internal colleagues to make sure our customers receive the support they need.An awareness of relevant housing legislation will be a must as youll prepare legal documents and represent Abri in court in support of possession of our properties.
