Role Description
This is a full-time Commercial Property Solicitor role at a growing Daventry firm. The Commercial Property Solicitor will handle legal matters related to commercial real estate, working alongside the managing partner with plans for the successful applicant to run the department. This ambitious firm is looking to double its headcount over the next five years, so now is the perfect time to join them for career development. 3 Years PQE £55-65k + Bonus.
Core areas of legal expertise include:
• All aspects of development work, including site appraisal, acquisitions, disposals, developer agreements, promotion agreements, planning agreements and options
• All aspects of Landlord and Tenant
• Negotiating and preparing leases and easements
• Drafting leases, tenancy agreements, sales and purchase agreements, deeds of surrender and any other documents as required.
Other key responsibilities include:
• Delivery of outstanding client service at all times
• Accurate recording of all matter-related time using the firm’s case management system
• Deliver the firm’s quality standards protocol, including maintaining the firm’s quality file management review process.
• Business development – supporting the team to develop a robust regional practice
Person Specification
• Post qualification experience essential – ideally 3+ years PQE
• Experienced working in commercial property, in particular in landlord and tenant law
• Commercial awareness and understanding of the regional commercial property market, its challenges and opportunities
• Experience with case management systems and proven ability to manage time effectively
• Experience working within a target-driven environment
• Experience in undertaking marketing and business development activity
• Experience with document drafting and research
• Experience in building relationships with external stakeholders
• Experience with client relationship management systems.
