Role: Purchase Ledger Administrator

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4:30pm

Salary: Up to £27,000pa

Contract: Permanent | Full Time

Location: Doncaster with free on site parking

Join our client's dynamic finance team as a Purchase Ledger Administrator This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join a successful organisation. As the Purchase Ledger Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the finance department. If you have previous purchase ledger experience and are looking for a full-time, permanent role, we would love to hear from you

Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Raise PO's
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices and payments
  • Maintain supplier accounts and resolve any payment-related queries
  • Support with other administrative tasks such as filling, answering calls and monitoring the department inbox

Required Skills:

  • Previous experience in purchase ledger administration
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A positive and proactive attitude towards work
