BI Consulting Analyst - Financial Services – SQL / Python / Spark Overview:We’re currently partnered with a leading global Supply Chain business who possess over 150 years of experience in commodity trading. They are looking for a BI Consulting Analyst to join the business and take ownership in helping key clients reduce costs and carbon emissions by utilising advanced tech and AI to help solve complex optimisation issues throughout the supply chain. This includes warehouse allocation, optimal routing and manufacturing inputs (ingredients). Role & Responsibilities:Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and BI requirements.Develop, implement, and maintain BI solutions using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or similar.Analyse complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.Create and deliver compelling data visualizations and reports that facilitate strategic decision-making.Provide training and support to clients on BI tools and best practices.Conduct data validation and ensure data accuracy and integrity.Stay updated with the latest BI trends and technologies to provide innovative solutions.Assist in the development of BI strategies and roadmaps for clients.Use AI to enhance processes and drive value across the business.Essential Skills & Experience: 2+ years of experience in BI, data analytics, or a related role.Previous experience or a genuine interest in supply chain consulting or optimisation problems.Confident using Python, Spark & SQL.Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or similar.Strong SQL skills and experience with database management.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
