Interim Technical Manager

We are seeking an experienced Interim Technical Manager to provide leadership and technical expertise within our food manufacturing facility. This role is critical in ensuring product safety, legal compliance, and the maintenance of robust quality systems during a period of transition. The successful candidate will oversee all technical operations, support continuous improvement, and act as the primary interface with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Compliance * Lead the Technical and Quality teams to ensure all products meet food safety, quality, and legal standards. * Maintain and improve site compliance with BRCGS, retailer standards, and relevant regulatory requirements. * Oversee site audit readiness and manage external audits, including regulatory and customer audits. Quality Management * Ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) is current, effective, and aligned with best practice. * Manage non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions. * Review and approve product specifications, artwork, labelling, and technical documentation.
