We are Currently Recruiting a Specialist Loss adjuster for the Northumberland for our Client within the Claims and Risk Management sector.

The General Property team are at the heart of our business: Managing property claims ranging from minor damage to major to catastrophic events. As a Commercial and/or Domestic Loss Adjuster, you’ll be assigned your own region around Northumberland. The role will be home based with regular regional travel required with occasional overnight stays depending upon location.

You’ll be supporting our valued clients in proactively handling and settling a mixed caseload of property claims, up to the value of £100k. These can vary in complexity so it’s essential that you’ll put yourself in the shoes of the policy holder, appreciate each situation differently by investigating each claim with tact and a calm manner, establishing the facts, policy details and work towards a resolution.

What will you be responsible for:   

  • Carry out initial inspections and site visits. 
  • Assess damage; determine probable cause and have a detailed knowledge of all aspects of Domestic & Commercial claims, processes and be able to interpret and apply policy cover, terms and conditions as appropriate. 
  • You will provide technical advice, support and guidance all parties as well as proposing bespoke solutions in a friendly and professional manner.
