With ambitious plans for growth and investment, they are looking for a General Manager who can spearhead operational performance, enhance factory competitiveness, and build high-performing teams that will help shape the company’s future.
The Role
As the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading the factory operations while also playing a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of the business. You will be instrumental in ensuring the site remains competitive, efficient, and a centre of manufacturing excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full P&L accountability, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
- Lead factory operations, driving efficiency, productivity, and high performance.
- Develop and implement long-term strategies to enhance operational competitiveness.
- Deliver and manage CAPEX and OPEX projects effectively.
- Champion LEAN methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of engagement and excellence.
- Engage and manage key stakeholders across the business, influencing at all levels.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices in food manufacturing.
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Extensive experience in food manufacturing, with a track record of leading operations at a senior level.
- Strong CAPEX and OPEX management experience, with the ability to lead investment projects.
- A deep understanding of LEAN methodologies and their application within food/drinks production.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, develop, and engage teams.
- Commercial acumen and P&L accountability, ensuring financial success.
- Stakeholder management expertise, able to build relationships at all levels, from the shop floor to the boardroom.
