Due to continued success, my client now has an opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their growing team. They are an established, forward thinking Practice who have a great team of professionals who ensure they give the highest standard of service to their clients.
With continued heavy workload, they now require a permanent Bookkeeper to join their state of the art Manchester City Centre office. Main Duties:
- Handling payments, invoices, income, and receipts by entering data into accounting software Xero & Quickbooks.
- Preparing financial statements.
- Completing VAT returns.
- Ensuring the accuracy of business accounts and notifying the Accountant of any discrepancies.
- Documenting inconsistencies to assist Accountants in reconciling errors.
- Generating monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss, and balance sheets.
- Assisting the Accountant with administrative tasks and preparing annual accounts.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within Bookkeeping
- Experience using cloud based softwares including Xero / Quickbooks
- Ability to use Outlook and Excel competently
