Why This Role is Attractive Join a collaborative, forward-thinking team with a focus on professional development Play a pivotal role in team growth and leadership, mentoring junior colleagues and supporting administrative staff Work with a diverse and established client base within the Social Housing sector Opportunity to influence business development and strategic initiatives Career progression and exposure to complex, high-profile legal matters Role Responsibilities As an Associate / Senior Associate, you will: Provide expert legal guidance on social housing governance, charity law, and regulatory compliance Advise clients on mergers, land disposals, and charitable obligations Support clients with policy, procedure, and compliance under the Charities Act, Companies Act, and other relevant legislation Handle a varied caseload, ensuring matters are managed efficiently and clients are kept informed Represent clients in County Court hearings and other proceedings Mentor junior team members and contribute to staff development Stay up to date with legislative changes and sector developments, applying them to client work Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of the practice Who Were Looking For as Senior Associate The ideal candidate will have: Solid experience in social housing, governance, and charity law Excellent knowledge of regulatory compliance and sector best practices Strong ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, practical advice Experience in mentoring, managing, or supervising staff Commercial awareness and the ability to manage a profitable caseload Proven advocacy skills in County Court proceedings A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach with excellent organisational skills Why Apply?
