Building Control Inspector Class 2 A- F Must be registered to at least Class 2A Salary up to £70,000 plus benefits package A new Building Inspector role with the flexibility to work from home with existing clients based around Southend-on-Sea or Chelmsford. The Building Inspector will be responsible for plan checking and site inspections in the local area. This is ideally suited to a surveyor who values training and development while getting a good work/life balance. About the Role You will work in a team of Registered Building Inspectors who cover residential and small commercial projects around North London covering Uxbridge and Watford you will only travel within 45 minutes of home, this business understand one of the biggest problems for surveyors in not factoring the time it takes you to get your client sites. Ideally you'll be local to one of these areas or happy to cover sites around there. You will be expected to complete 15 - 20 inspections a week and a maximum of 5 plan checks. There isn't a KPI culture and they value getting along as team with a manager who doesn't feel like a "boss" It's an ideal role to increase your class if you wish but this is at your request and on your terms - you'll get lots of support too.
