Company Overview


A global financial services group is looking for an Equity Derivatives Lawyer for a 6 month contract.


Role Overview


Join a dynamic team of lawyers supporting various Global Markets businesses. In this role, you will:


  • Collaborate with the Equities team on structuring, negotiating, documenting, and executing equity products, including derivatives, margin loans, fund finance, and prime brokerage.
  • Provide guidance on the creation and launch of new products, including regulatory analysis and structuring.
  • Interpret and implement regulatory changes impacting equities.
  • Offer legal and regulatory advice to internal teams such as Risk, Compliance, and the Business.


Skills & Experience


We are looking for an experienced lawyer with:

  • Strong expertise in equity products, particularly equity derivatives.
  • Familiarity with ISDA (including Equity Definitions), LMA, GMSLA, and prime brokerage documentation.
  • Knowledge of corporate, security, finance, and insolvency laws.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively across all levels.
  • A proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • English-qualified with 5+ years PQE.
